Rectifiers for galvanizing systems

The rectifier is a device specifically designed to transform a signal into a positive signal, to straighten an alternating signal or constantly convert alternating current.


Rectifier: fields of application

The application fields for electronic rectifiers are varied, among them are:

  • aluminium anodising;
  • traditional anodising 20-25Vdc;
  • hard chromic anodising 60Vdc (constant voltage control with adjustable current limit);
  • hard sulphur anodising 100Vdc (constant current control with adjustable minimum voltage).

Electronic six-phase rectifier

Six-phase electronic rectifiers are used for chromium, copper plating, zinc plating, nickel plating, circuit boards, electro polishing, anodising, gilding and silver plating.

The power supply with static control is designed to be powered by a three-phase AC line and therefore without unbalancing the current even at high power; the adjustment is through thyristor electronics and does not require periodic maintenance.
